Shaun L. Motley is a creative mind and skilled designer of sets and environments for television, film, theater, live music and sporting events. With over 20 years’ experience developing and executing designs for the top entertainment industry leaders, Shaun has crafted a work philosophy guided by a strong belief in using design as not only a problem-solving tool, but as a way of recognizing and forming relationships between ideas and reality. His early education in architecture helps him arrive at set design from a unique point of view. His work often focuses on the ability to create seamless environments with the audiences, the performers, and the story/visual thru line. Shaun is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard, collaborate, and succeed. His ability to convey a visual story through his sets and environments has helped him succeed and solidify his path in the entertainment industry. Shaun received a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Pratt Institute and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Set Design from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
