Tani Cohen

In 2019 Tani Cohen partnered with acquisitions and distribution veteran Bobby Rock to launch team 713 entertainment, a production and management company. Prior to this through her A Day in the Life Films, she produced the feature film LOVE & DEBT starring Tom Cavanagh and Bellamy Young and NO PAY, NUDITY starring Gabriel Byrne and Nathan Lane, directed by Lee Wilkof from Ethan Sandler's script. NO PAY, NUDITY was released domestically through Monterey Media. Cohen executive produced SIX LETTER WORD written and directed by Lisanne Sartor, starring Rumer Willis. The film screened at the Cannes and Telluride Film Festivals. Preceding this, she executive produced DAVID AND GOLIATH directed by George Zaver and starring Billy Burke. Cohen produced, along with CC Goldwater, Sheila Nevins and Nancy Abraham, the HBO Emmy nominated documentary MR. CONSERVATIVE: GOLDWATER ON GOLDWATER. Prior to this, Cohen produced the MGM released feature film THE DUST FACTORY and received an Emmy nomination for executive producing the Showtime Original feature film SNOW IN AUGUST. Many festivals have recognized Cohen's work as an independent film producer and three projects have screened in competition at the Sundance Film Festival: INSIDE MONKEY ZETTERLAND; EGG SALAD and GUINEVERE. Additionally, Cohen produced THE SOULER OPPOSITE, which premiered at AFI Film Festival and co-produced HOW TO KILL YOUR NEIGHBOR'S DOG, that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. She also served as consulting producer on the independent film LIVING 'TIL THE END, which premiered at the Hamptons International Film Festival. Cohen produced the pilots SEPTUPLETS and AN AMERICAN TOWN for 20th Century Fox Television and additionally co-produced the feature films REPLICANT; FOREVER LULU; OCTOBER 22 and executive produced THEY CAME AT NIGHT. Cohen started her film career at Brian De Palma's Fetch Productions. The films SCARFACE, BODY DOUBLE and WISE GUYS were produced during her tenure.
